Itaewon Global Village is looking for volunteers as a way to serve our Korean community.  Below are the volunteer opportunities available that you might be interested in:

Yongsan Center for the Disabled (November 15th, Friday, 2:00pm-4:00pm)
This activity involves simple cooking activity (like pizza, salad, sandwiches, etc.) with our friends in the center. This activity help them develop their life skills and also a good way for them to socialize and learn about different foods.

Yongsan Senior Welfare Center (November 19th Tuesday, 1:00pm-2:00pm)
Spend time with halmeonis and harabeojis (Korean grandmas and grandpas) by having an English conversation with them as a part of their English class. This class is one of the programs of Senior Welfare Center to help prevent Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia.  You do not need to be a native English speaker to join this activity, and it is a great chance for cultural exchange as well.

If you wish to join any of the activities, email us your name, nationality, phone number in Korea, email address and the activity (or activities) that you wish to join.  (Email:  kapcorteza@yongsan.go.kr)

*** Volunteer Certificates can be issued if needed.  ** Volunteer activities are for foreigners only.
Please be advised that Itaewon GVC does NOT provide any kind of visa sponsorship, official invitation for immigration purposes, accommodation or compensation for these volunteer activities.
