On November 14th Thursday at 10:00am-12:30pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a “Tour of Modern and Contemporary Architecture at Seoullo.” Through this activity, participants will have a chance to Explore Seoul's architecture from the post-enlightenment and modern eras near Seoullo. Travel along Seoullo and see traces of Korea's enlightenment as expressed in architecture. Western culture entered Korea around the 1900s, causing a radical shift in the city’s architectural styles and culture. Walk from Seoul Station to Chungjeongno to look at the buildings built after the enlightenment era. Experience the changes that took place in the city and discover the hidden stories of Seoul. The tour will be meeting at Hoeheyon Station (line 4) and proceed from there. The tour will be free of charge but registration is a must.
