| On Friday, November 29th at 10:00am – 1:00pm, Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a “Simone Handbag Museum Tour”. The Simone Handbag Museum houses one of the finest collections in the world. The focus is on fashionable western handbags created for women to carry, it also conveys and safeguards small personal items. Exhibits include the latest ʻItʼ bags of the 21st century and rare specimens that date back to the 1500s. Together we will explore the museum and make a leather card case as well. After the leather card case making class, you can pick up a beverage from the Museum Café. This tour will be held in the Simone Handbag Museum (near Sinsa Station (Line3)). The participation fee is 23,000won. Once you register, specific email will be sent to you. Pre-registration & pre-payment required. | |||

| On November 14th Thursday at 10:00am-12:30pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a “Tour of Modern and Contemporary Architecture at Seoullo.” Through this activity, participants will have a chance to Explore Seoul's architecture from the post-enlightenment and modern eras near Seoullo. Travel along Seoullo and see traces of Korea's enlightenment as expressed in architecture. Western culture entered Korea around the 1900s, causing a radical shift in the city’s architectural styles and culture. Walk from Seoul Station to Chungjeongno to look at the buildings built after the enlightenment era. Experience the changes that took place in the city and discover the hidden stories of Seoul. The details on the venue will be sent through a confirmation email after registration. Do not miss your chance to join this tour! This year, we are once again looking for volunteers for “Kimjang” (Kimchi Making) for charity. This will be a great opportunity to not only share your time and kindness to neighbors in need but also to learn about Korean culture.
